Our Story
began in 1945
A 3rd generation family business
Boden Builders is a 3rd generation family business which began in 1945 with Ron Theedam. Ron, born in England, worked in various trades across the building industry from an early age. He came to Australia with his then 21 year old son Ronald, who was a qualified carpenter. Together they ran Theedam Building, where they specialised in all facets of home and commercial building. The grandson, Trent, began working with them at 16 and later completed his carpentry course and builders licence by the age of 21.
Our first residential development
Within a few years, they began Boden Builders and bought their first residential development in Boden Avenue, Strathfield, which is where the company name was found. They have for the last 7 years built a reputation of developing boutique luxury apartment blocks across Sydney by creating innovative designs with impeccable quality and finishes. Trent is now the director of the company and works in all aspects of the developments.
Awarded the prestigious MBA award
In 2014, we were awarded the prestigious Master Builders Association (MBA) award for ” Unit development”. This was awarded to the newly completed block of units at 59 Burnie Street, Clovelly for our designer finishes, main entrances both external and internal and extensive landscaping.
Creating a unique living environment
Apart from having building in our blood, we love what we do. We pride ourselves on being hands on from buying the property to handing over to the new purchaser. Our passion is in creating a unique living environment that people will stand the test of time with both the finishes and quality of workmanship. We have even created our own unique colour which we paint the internal walls of our projects, which is heavily guarded.
